New users following the manual onboarding path

Complete Business Profile so Crunch can tailor setup to your current operation and POS. You can answer the questions yourself or ask Alex to help.

Open and Complete Business Profile

1
Open Business Profile in the onboarding workspace.
2
Under Business status, choose Already running or Starting fresh.
3
Choose your POS situation: keep your existing POS, explore a new POS, or select No POS / not relevant right now.
4
If you are keeping your POS, choose Current POS: Square, Toast, Clover, or Other.
5
Optionally select your priorities and add No. of locations and Annual revenue.
6
Click Save Business Profile.

The priority choices cover inventory management, recipe costing, menu management, sales analytics, purchasing, and team management. These answers provide context; they do not create catalog records, locations, or a POS connection.

How Your Answers Affect Setup

If you are Already running, keeping your existing POS, and using Square, connect Square and seed Crunch from its catalog first. Review imported counts and unmatched links before adding manual or spreadsheet items.

If you are Starting fresh, build the catalog in Crunch and publish to Square later if you need it. If POS is not relevant, continue with the operational setup and use Skip for now on POS steps where offered.

Info

Selecting a POS here records what you use; it does not connect that service or confirm that an integration is available. Square authorisation happens in POS Connect.

Use the onboarding workspace Connect, seed, and publish Square
