Who is this article for?

Users preparing to finish onboarding and publish their setup

Check Go-Live Readiness in the onboarding workspace before publishing to Square. It shows coverage and the specific blockers or gaps that still need attention.

Read the Readiness Result

The canvas can show Not Ready, Partially Ready, or Ready to Publish. Its coverage checks include:

  • Recipe coverage for sellable items
  • Cost coverage for a usable cost basis
  • Inventory coverage for stock and hybrid items at locations
  • Menu coverage for sellable items assigned to menus

Crunch also checks POS status, modifier costing, and Square mapping health where relevant. Follow the named blockers, rather than assuming a high percentage alone is enough to publish.

Resolve Missing Coverage

1
Read the blockers and gaps in the readiness checkpoint.
2
Open the related step or dashboard records and correct the missing information.
3
Review and apply any drafts created for those corrections. Wait for Applied before checking readiness again.
4
If your workspace was seeded from Square, review imported counts and unmatched links in Catalog Import > Import from Square POS.

For recipe or cost gaps, inspect ingredients, their costs, and any item-based modifiers used by the sellable item. For inventory gaps, check location inventory and costs. For menu gaps, check the item's menu assignment and availability.

Tip

Ask Alex to help with the blocker shown on screen. Include the item or step concerned, then review any proposed drafts before applying them.

Open POS Publish

POS Publish checks readiness for publishing before the publish itself has completed. Square must be connected and the panel must report Ready to publish before Publish to Square is enabled.

The final go-live checkpoint also considers publish status. Readiness for starting a publish and completion of the publish are separate checks.

Warning

Publishing can change the connected Square catalog. Review your Crunch data and Square links, read the publish message, and wait for the publish result. The dashboard being accessible does not confirm that publishing succeeded.

Resume Later

If you need to finish costs, recipes, or other setup in another session, return from the dashboard banner with Continue Setup or View Progress. Your journey remains available.
