Anyone recording or reviewing sales orders in Crunch

Use Sales Orders to create manual orders, track their state and review sales, stock consumption and profitability.

Order States

An order can be Draft, Pending, Confirmed, Preparing, Ready, Completed or Cancelled.

The list groups records into All orders, Completed and Non-completed tabs. Use Analytics to open the dashboard's Sales Orders reporting tab.

Open an order to see the available state transitions. Completing a margin-eligible order triggers stock consumption; an order's earlier state is not proof that inventory has already moved.

Find and Compare Orders

Use search, Location, Date From, Date To, minimum/maximum total and Source filters to narrow the list. Each order shows Total Sales, COGS and GP %. Source badges help distinguish till and Xero invoice records.

Choose + New Order to enter an order manually. Selected orders can expose bulk tools in More actions.

Review Details and Analytics

Open an order for its lines, modifiers, state controls and Inventory Impact. The edit screen allows Reference ID and Notes updates; it does not expose line-item editing.

The Analytics action opens the dashboard's Sales Orders tab, which includes revenue, COGS, gross profit, margins, trends, item rankings and Product Profitability. Set its date, location and source scope before comparing figures. Xero invoice revenue is separate from the till cost and margin figures.
